My Aged Care can:

  • give you information about different types of aged care services
  • refer you for an assessment to determine what you need and see if you’re eligible for government support
  • give you referrals and support to find the right service providers
  • advise how much you might need to pay towards the cost of care.

There are different types of aged care services through My Aged Care.

  • Help at home

    You may be able to get help with daily activities like showering, meals or transport.
  • Short term care

    You may be able to get respite care or help while you recover after a hospital stay.
  • Aged care homes

    You can live in an aged care home to get help with everyday tasks, personal care and nursing care.

Cost of aged care
