Manage secret questions and answers
Using secret questions and answers as a sign in option puts your account at risk. Only use secret question and answers if you can’t use a multifactor authentication option like passkeys, Digital ID, SMS codes or an authenticator.
Soon secret questions and answers will only be used to help you recover your myGov account.
If you want to access services like the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you’ll need to choose a different multifactor authentication option.
