If you’ve been directly affected by a declared natural disaster, you may be eligible for Australian Government support and payments. Natural disaster events include:
- storms
- flooding
- bushfires
- cyclones
- monsoons.

If you’re not eligible for government support
You can apply for emergency relief support on the Australian Red Cross website.
State and territory support and payments
Financial assistance is available if you've been affected by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Check if you can get support from the Queensland Government or NSW Government.
