Using fuel check apps and websites

You can use fuel check apps or websites to help you compare the cost of fuel in your area.

Some state and territory governments have their own fuel check apps and websites:

• FuelCheck NSW for New South Wales and the ACT
• MyFuel NT for the Northern Territory
• FuelCheck Tas for Tasmania
• FuelWatch for Western Australia.

Following fuel price cycles

Learning about the price cycle of fuel in your area can help you work out when the cost of fuel will be low. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) tracks fuel price cycles in Australia’s major cities. You can use this information and choose to buy fuel on the cheapest day.
