Get back into the workplace
Work is one of the most effective ways to improve wellbeing. You don’t have to be fully recovered, but being at work can help your recovery.
Rehabilitation programs
A rehabilitation program can support your recovery and return to work. Your rehabilitation case manager is responsible for coordinating your workplace rehabilitation program.
Your rehabilitation program aims to:
- assist you to remain at or return to work, and/or
- maintain or improve your activities of daily living.
Find out more about rehabilitation programs on the Comcare website.
Workers compensation claimants
When returning to work after a work-related illness or injury, your employer will manage your recovery. Your rehabilitation case manager will tell you if you need a program to help you recover. You'll be consulted on the program and encouraged to actively engage to give you the best opportunity to return to work.
Find out more about the return to work process for claimants on the Comcare website.
