You can get an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate online if you’ve linked Medicare to myGov.

Using your Medicare online account

Here are the steps to get an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate:

  1. Sign in to myGov.
  2. Select the Proof of COVID-19 vaccination quick link. Select Go to Medicare.
  3. Select Request an international certificate from International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
  4. Select your name, then Next.
  5. Follow the prompts to verify your vaccinations and passport details.
  6. Save a copy of your certificate to your device.

Using the Express Plus Medicare mobile app

Here are the steps to get an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate:

  1. Sign in to the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
  2. Select Proof of vaccinations from Services.
  3. Select Request an international certificate from International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
  4. Select your name, then Next.
  5. Follow the prompts to verify your vaccinations and passport details.
  6. Save a copy of your certificate to your device.

If you’re not eligible for Medicare 

You can get an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate online if you’ve linked the Individual Healthcare Identifiers service to myGov.

Here are the steps to get an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate:

  1. Sign in to myGov.
  2. Select IHI service from Your services. 
  3. Select View proof.
  4. Select Request an international certificate, then Next.
  5. Follow the steps to verify your vaccinations and passport details. You may need to update your middle name in the passport details screen to match what is on your passport.
