Getting help at home if you have disability
If you need modifications, equipment and help with everyday tasks, there’s support from the NDIS and your state government.
National Disability Insurance Scheme at home
If you’re eligible, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) may fund:
- modifications to make your home accessible for you
- supports to help with showering, getting dressed, preparing meals and cleaning
- a support worker to help you attend social and community activities.
Find out if you’re eligible and learn about home and living supports on the NDIS website.
