There are support services for your mental health. You can also seek help if you’re experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.

Your mental health if you have disability

If you’re having a hard time, talking to others is important for your mental health and wellbeing. There are services you can contact to speak with a trained counsellor. Find services you can contact to get mental health support.

Your safety

Violence, abuse and neglect can happen inside the home, in the community or in institutions such as schools, religious settings or care homes.

It can come from your partner, family member or carer. If you’re living in an institution, it could be by someone who’s not related to you, such as a health worker.
