Find out what payments and services are available to help you manage a mental illness.

Payments and concessions you can get

You may be able to get a payment or a concession card from Services Australia. Some of these links will take you away from myGov.

  • Disability Support Pension

    Help if you have a permanent physical, intellectual or psychiatric condition.
  • Mobility Allowance

    This helps with travel costs for work, study, training or looking for work if you have disability, illness or injury.
  • JobSeeker Payment

    A payment for people between 22 and 66 years old who are looking for work, or who can’t work or study for a short time.
  • Concession and health care cards

    A concession or health care card can help with the cost of health services and medicine.

What Medicare covers
