Link Department of Veterans’ Affairs

Find out how to link the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) to myGov to find important information about your veteran services.

MyService is DVA’s online claiming platform. Find out more about MyService on the DVA website.

Follow these steps to link your DVA account to your myGov account.

  1. Sign in to myGov.
  2. Select Services.
  3. Select Link on the Department of Veterans’ Affairs tile.
  4. Get an activation code by either:
  5. Enter your activation code and date of birth and select Submit to link your DVA account.

When you link DVA to your myGov account you can:

  • lodge and track online claims including travel expenses
  • book transport for medical appointments
  • update income and assets
  • request official letters
  • access your digital DVA Veteran Card
  • upload supporting information with your claim
  • access support for a service-related condition or injury
  • view personal information and update contact details.
