Government help if you’re renting

If you’re renting, you may be eligible for Centrelink payments, government concessions and other help.

  • Rent Deduction Scheme

    A free and voluntary service to pay bills and expenses as regular deductions from your Centrelink payments.

Help with health care

You may be eligible for a Low Income Health Care Card if you have a low income. This can help you get cheaper health care and discounts.
