Mobility Allowance

This helps with travel costs for work, study, training or looking for work if you have disability, illness or injury.

Mobility Allowance is a payment from Services Australia.

Who can get it

To get this you must:

  • be 16 years or older
  • meet the residence rules
  • be unable to use public transport without a lot of help
  • have a disability, illness, or injury
  • need to travel for paid or voluntary work, study, training, or to look for work.

You can’t get this allowance if you have either:
