It can be overwhelming to think about all the possible career paths you can take. There’s a lot of information available and there are multiple ways you can get into your chosen career. These links will take you away from myGov.

If you’re currently a student

You can find out about different industries and occupations on the Your Career website.

If you live with disability

You can match your skills and interests with a job or career on the JobAccess website.

Study or work while you train

You may choose to work while you’re studying or retraining. Speak with your workplace and teachers to understand the demands that studying can have on your time. It’s important that you keep a good balance between work, life and study.

If you’re on a student visa

If you’re from overseas, check your visa conditions on the Department of Home Affairs website. You can see any conditions on the amount of hours you’re able to work.
