Language, Literacy and Numeracy Supplement

This is an extra payment for people doing the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.

This is a Services Australia payment.

Australians 15 years and over who’ve left school and need help with language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills can do the SEE program. Learn more about the SEE program on the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations website.

Who can get it

To get this supplement, you must:

  • be enrolled in the SEE program
  • be enrolled in the First Nations SEE program
  • be receiving an eligible payment.

How to get it

You don’t need to submit a claim. Services Australia will check if you can get it when you start the SEE program.

To keep getting the supplement you must:

  • continue to be eligible for the payment you get
  • remain actively involved in the SEE program.
