Check your myGov account history
How to check your account history and what to look out for.
Your account history displays activity such as signing in and updates to your myGov account. It shows the last 50 actions taken relating to your account.
How to view your myGov account history
To view your account history, sign in to your myGov account and select Account settings, then select Account history.
What to check in your myGov account history
Check your account history for activity you don’t recognise, such as:
- changes to your account settings such as your email address, mobile phone number, connecting Digital ID or adding a passkey
- unusual recent sign ins or attempted sign ins
- the local date and time of unusual activity
- the device details or passkey used to sign in or update your account.
If there’s activity that wasn’t done by you, this indicates unauthorised access. The safest step is to close your myGov account. You can also find out what to do if there’s been unauthorised access to your myGov account.
You can then create a new account and relink your services.
Thank you for your feedback
