Dad and Partner Pay

A payment for up to 2 weeks while you care for your new child born or adopted before 1 July 2023.

This payment has changed

From 1 July 2023, Parental Leave Pay and Dad and Partner Pay combined into one payment. Parental Leave Pay increased from 90 days (18 weeks) to 100 days (20 weeks).

If your child’s date of birth or adoption is on or after this date, you’ll need to apply for Parental Leave Pay not Dad and Partner Pay.
